1. The Build Quality of Monoprice 110010

Monoprice 11010 is an over-ear headphone with a closed back. The closed-back ensures that the headphones provide the active noise cancellation it needs. 

The headphones are wired and don’t have a wireless version. The headphones are equipped with a mic, which works perfectly fine and does its job perfectly. The mic is a dynamic mic, and it is connected to the wire itself. 

The build quality of the Monoprice 110010 is quite solid and looks bulky. The weight of the Monoprice 110010 is 233 grams or 0.51 Lbs. 

2. Style of Monoprice

The Monoprice noise-cancelling headphones are grey, and the ear cups are black, giving them contrasting looks. 

The foam is comfy, and the headphone’s force on the head is not too much. 

The back of the headphone is oval and looks decent. The finish is glossy, and it has Monoprice branding on it. The shiny branding is in silver colour and looks subtle in the black colour. 

The headphones look premium. You may say that the design looks very similar to other premium headphones out there like Sony and Audio Technica. And it is partially true. The headphones look like Sony and Audio Technica headphones, and you may not like them for that reason. But while using them, I didn’t feel that the headphones were some copy of Premium headphones.

Maybe because the headphones’ look and feel are different from those from Sony and Audio Technica, the comfort level of 110010 is different, and that’s why I didn’t feel that the design is copied from other brands.

The comfort on the Monoprice 110010 is best in class. The headphones don’t feel that they are applying too much pressure. If you’re using it for a longer run, You may get a little sweaty near the ear cups, but all in all, the comfort is quite good. 

As we discussed, the ear cups are light, and the headband is decently padded. The headband is not perfect, but it’ll do its job perfectly. 

If you want to use these headphones while doing sports, yoga, or workout, You will find yourself in an uncomfortable position. Wired headphones, in general, are not the ideal headphones to use while performing sports-related activities.

Controls on Monoprice 110010 are decent. Nothing fancy. I would rather say that the rules can be better. 

The controls are not easy to use but easy to access. 

All the controls are on the wire-like every other headphone, but the buttons don’t feel very click and responsive. 

You can pick up calls, Control volume, and that’s it. 

You can not adjust mic volume, or you can not control noise cancellation. The mic also doesn’t give you a talk-through option. 

The control buttons are so tight that you might get confused using them. 

All in all, the controls lack the feedback and the response a user wants while using or clicking the buttons. 

It would have been great if the buttons were far enough so a user won’t get confused using them.

Monoprice 110010, being a medium-sized headphone, is decent regarding portability. You won’t see them doing fancy tricks to be more portable, like twisting the earcups. 

Well, in my opinion, If the earcups could turn inside, that would add some more points to their portability. 

You will sometimes find them too hard to put in. They might feel bulky sometimes, but it’s the same with every pair of headphones.

So if you’re often on the move, you’ll need a bag or a purse to carry it around. It may feel a little annoying, but you’ll get used to it.
